The story takes place in California, five years after the end of World War II. Jack Waters is called in to investigate the accidental death of a German scientist at a private research lab. The scientist turns out to be connected to an underground research lab Mittelwerk at the Mittelbau-Dora WWII concentration camp. Waters must revisit his role in the liberation of the camp and the mysterious fate of his brother.

The Man From Mittelwerk is the first in a trilogy of historical noir fiction featuring detective Jack Waters, available from Amazon, Audible, Inkshares and independent booksellers.

Meet the Authors

Twin brothers Michael and Zack Urlocker are writing their first book together under the name M.Z. Urlocker.

Michael is a former newspaper reporter and financial analyst living in Ottawa. Zack is a software executive living in Traverse City, Michigan.
