Zudio runs as a native iPhone application, optimized for background play. Compatible with CarPlay. Includes continuous play mode and Sleep timers.
Zudio runs as a native iPad application and includes an additional Tracks View for showing the MIDI as its plays, in addition to the regular Visualizer view.
Zudio runs as a native Mac application on Arm or Intel. Includes Tracks view to see the MIDI as it plays. Export MIDI or audio stems to your DAW for further editing.
Zudioo uses GS MIDI samples, arpeggios, pads, co-prime loops, tubular bells, ripped off riffs, Berlin school bass, muted trumpets, modal drift, spooky X-Files, Dinger beat and tons of reverb!
Getting Started
Zudio is easy! Select a Style (Ambient, Chill, Kosmic or Motorik), and a Mode (Song, Evolve or Endless) and click Generate.
Substyles are Automatic! There is a substyle for each of the styles: Ambient Piano, Chill Blues, Kosmic Drift, Motorik Noir. Songs using the substyle are generated automatically 20-35% of the time for added variety. Substyles have their own unique rules and additional instruments. You will see the style indicated below the song title.
MIDI and Audio File Export. When you save a song, Zudio automatically saves both a Zudio file (text) and also a MIDI file with the same name. This will be in the default folder (e.g. /Downloads on a Mac), accessible from the Files app on iPhone or iPad. On the Mac you can optionally export individual audio track stems (e.g. bass, drums, leads) for further work in a DAW.
Visualizer and Log View. Zudio starts in the Visualizer view, where animated orbs represent the notes. Click or swipe to change instruments or tempo. The Log view shows the rules running begind the scenes
Zudio requires iOS 16 or later. If Zudio does not play, or you hear only background sound (e.g. rain or a cafe) please upgrade your OS.
