Graphic Novel Issue 3
After a lengthy delay, I’ve completed issue #3 of the graphic novel adaptation. For this issue, I mostly used NightCafe for image generation, which is a big improvement. It produces very high quality, detailed illustrations. I also use the fantastic ComicLife from Plasq for layout.
AI image generation continues to improve, but it still gets more wrong than it gets right! So it cane take a dozen or more attempts before I get an image I’m happy with.
It’s been interesting to convert a novel into a more graphic medium. This section, which takes us through chapter 19 has a lot of dialog, and sometimes that slows the pace. Still, there’s some action to break things up, which is good. (I blame the source material!)
